Wilderness Shotgun Slugs

Hello All,

I just bought myself a 590A1 52682 to be used as a "camp" gun. Now the tough part seems to be finding decent ammo.

I picked up some Rottweil Exact slugs today. I know these aren't the famed Brenneke's but just how different are they ?

Does anyone have experience with Challenger Slugs ? the 2 3/4" perform better on paper that the 3" Rottweils do.

A few weeks ago I bought 15 boxes of 3 inch mag Brenneke slugs from Cal Pritchard , gunsmith , in Thunder Bay . He had 5 boxes of 3 inchers and maybe 10 boxes of 2 3/4 inch left . There is no better bear medicine .
