The couple of hundred kilometers of wildlife fences along highway # 5 Coquihalla, and highway # 97C Connector, are preventing most wildlife form migrating north/south and east/west.
While scouting for new hunting grounds along these two, fenced highways, I have come upon of one of the most massive wintering areas for moose, anywhere in B.C. As the snow melted, the moose have moved back to their summer feeding grounds.
These wildlife fences works very much like a giant "fish traps", that prevents wildlife to continue on their, seasonal and natural migrating trails.
Have there been any impact study of the wildlife ungulates, along these two, fences highways ?
