wildlife poo

I came across a pile of scat yesterday That I can't identify... wish I had a camera.

it was,
brown-black color
tubular shaped with flat ends (1"-1 1/4" long x 3/16-1/4" in diameter )
pile was about 6" in diameter x 2" high
no signs of fur, nuts or corn kernels:D
 
lol tracker.

I was out for a walk the other day and saw a massive pile of brown/purple scat, had seeds in it.. gee what could that be lol.
To many black bears around here. 5 have been shot in the last 3 day's. 2 by the OPP.

Oh by the way, OPP sucks at shooting. Took this cop 6 shots to down a cub. heh.
Mother was taken the following morning.

Were they using hand guns?? Gees!
Maybe they should hire a REAL hunter.

Black bear poo usually is similar to big dog poo, only darker and contains berries and seeds. Grizzly bear poo piles are huge and generally contain silver bells and smell like pepper spray ;) :D
