Will a Daniel Defense DDM4 v5 shoot .223 and 5.56?

I notice some AR's list the barrel as Wylde and will shoot .223/5.56. Most notably Rock River Arms. I'm looking at purchasing a DDM4 v2 or v5 once I get my restricted back but would like to know it can run both. I've searched but can't find any proof one way or the other. Can someone drop some science on me? Is there a benefit or problem in running an AR that will run both over one that will only run one or the other?

Thanks,

The first batch to come up from Wolverine are stamped 223 on the upper and barrel but Wolverine assured me that it is indeed a 5.56 despite the roll markings.

There is a sticky at the top of this section that explains this very well.
The short version is, if it is 5.56 chamber your safe with both. If it is .223 chamber you should avoid 5.56.
5.56 can be shot out of a .223 chamber but you should check you fired brass for signs of over pressure, also need to check every time you switch to a different brand of ammo. Stay away from the Norinco 5.56 in a .223 as it is said to be hotter than some other 5.56 out there.
If they assure you it is a 5.56 chamber your safe for either and don't need to worry. I would still avoid Norinco ammo but that's just me and you can make your own decision. There have been many people on here that have had issues with the Norinco stuff and to me it just isn't worth it for the small savings over other brands of bulk ammo that is more consistent.
