Will a model 12 barrel fit a Defender?

Just wondering, because it would be nice to be able to swap out barrels and use it for hunting. I know the lug would have to be relocated or i'd have to make a sleeve to allow it to fit, that is no problem. Because isn't the Defender just a model 12 with a longer mag tube?

I don't know in detail about the defender but models 120,1200,1300 are interchangeable.

Used to be a spacer available to make up the difference.
