Will a Pelican 1750 fit a Supernova with a +6 in addition to a 10/22?

I am trying to get my hands on a single case to fit my 24" Supernova with +6 (no optics, gonna run in Standard-Manual) and a 10/22 with a pistol grip and a dot (Mini Rifle Open). Would a Pelican 1750 do the trick? Trying to ship those guns in a single piece of luggage if possible. I know I can get a Plano that is a couple of inches longer, but would prefer to pay a little extra for the Pelican quality. However, a 1770 costs WAAAAAY too much.

Edit: Looks like I can make the Supernova work lengthwise.. Total length 48.5" while total interior space for the 1750 is 50.5".. Which means 0.5" in the back and 1.5" forward should do the trick. I'll work with the dimensions and see as I'd like to fit the 5 10/22 mags in there as well.

Ok I think I can make it work.. Here's what I got working with the 50.5 x 13.5 inner dimensions as per mfgr specs:

Even though it's not visible, there is about 1" space in front of the mag tube (Actually 1" spacing just about everywhere). You guys think that this can work for air freight without messing up my toys?

Talked to Pelican and they said with 1" around everything it will work. Might make some changes in the arrangement to make sure that all the serials are visible and see if I can fit a brick of .22lr in there as well.

I'd put a little extra padding over the muzzles jic but in a pelican case, I wouldn't worry about it one bit. As long as they don't move around while in the case, I think you could drop it from the cargo doors repeatedly without damage. I don't know what kind of optic you have on the rifle but I would remove it and put it in my carry-on.

Thanks for the info! I'll switch it over to a Meprolight M21 for travel, so I'm not worried.. You can run over that one with a truck, mount it back on and chances are it'll hold zero. Since I'll be running her in on dedicated action ranges, it's not like I need to reach out with her. I may leave a bit less space in the back and more padding on the muzzle end for the bambina's mag tube, though. Still gotta get a mag clamp before I start cutting.
