Will a Rem 700 action with 3-screw bottom metal accept 2-screw bottom metal?

I'm considering building a target setup from various components I've seen on CGN.

The barreled action I'm considering buying comes with a trigger group and trigger guard, but no magazine and floor plate. The action has three action screws. (short action)

My question is; if I buy a stock and bottom metal that uses only two action screws (also short action), will they line up with the first and third screw hole? or does this require specific bottom metal?

Yes. My experience is that the middle screw is for the ADL stock and the other threaded holes are no different from any other rem700.
