probably not, generally No4 mags will get stuck into a No1 mag well.

Ishapore 2A mags are the most easily available, and much less cost than any No4 7.62 mag.

They will fit with modifications but that ruins there value. Cheaper and easier to just go buy the proper mag.

Sell the Sterling and buy an Ishy, and a bunch of ammo.
