Will a Williams peep sight for a Model 94AE fit a Model 94 Big Bore?

Hi,

I think I know the answer to this one but I thought I'd check.

I want to put a hunting peep sight on my Winchester Model 94 Big Bore. I see Williams makes a sight for them (FP-94 BBSE) but I can't seem to find one.

On the EE a member is selling a Williams sight for a Model 94 AE (FP-94AE). Would it fit? If not, how hard would it be to make it fit?

They both seem to mount on the factory rear scope base holes. I'm thinking the only difference is the width of the receiver.

Order the proper one direct from williams. They are great to deal with I suspect it does not fit.

I have a 94 Big Bore in 375 Win. I ordered the sight directly from the Williams website, got it in two weeks. The other option is Western Gun parts in Edmonton. The AE sight you're looking at won't fit correctly due to the extra width of the Big Bore receiver.
