Will an NcSTAR red dot wistand 7.62NATO?

I plan to put a red dot on my M14 so it can look like this

It is a Aimpoint product that is worth more than my Norinco! So I was looking for alternative and I think the NCSTAR Red dot Sight sound like a good one.

It can be found on Marstar. If you bought that product I would like some feedback or advises.

Don't bother with NCStar for an M14 .. spend some cash and "invest" in a real red dot from Aimpoint even if they cost more or the same.

The M14 is nicknamed "the scope crusher".

NC Star scopes have a reputation for failing on rim-fire rifles.
