Will custom dies give better accuracy for a Marlin 94 / 45 Colt?

Like it says, I have a Marlin 1894 Cowboy in 45 Colt. I've done a fair amount of work to the action including a "Happy trigger", Wolf spring, honed and polished the all moving parts to the point it cycles with next to no effort. I've experimented with assorted powders and cast.
I just cant get my groups smaller that .71 @ ;50 yds. Last night I measured my fired Starline brass which averaged .485" across the midsection. Using my RCBS carbide set (P/N: 19112) my loaded rounds are ,469 ---- thats a difference of .016.

I understand why companies make them so large, I'm just wondering if my groups would shrink if I had a set of dies made up to about 1/2 that difference?

Also wondering if anyone has had dies made up for for this rifle or caliber?

If you are shooting cast have you slugged your barrel? What was the groove diameter and what size of cast bullets are you using?

I'll have to do that today, but since its new a newer rifle, i'm assuming it should be .452. I'm using M.T. Chambers .452 Keith style bullets.

most of the marlin 1894 45 colt rifles would do much better with a 454 cast bullet , as for a group of .71 at fifty yards , are you using a scope or iron sights? not a bad group in my book . weatherby guaranties there rifles to shoot in 1.5 minutes of angle at 100 yards , thats .75 inchs at 50 yards . those 2 grand weatherbys are suppose to be tack drivers, your old lever is not bad in my books ? no pun intended I have 5 marlin lever action and no weatherbys , must be the cowboy in me..........
