Will I need a riser with this scope? (NCStar)

Just picked up a Norc AR and I want to throw a cheap NCStar scope on it. Does anyone know if I'll need a riser with the scope below to clear the front sight?

Well, at 4x you won't see the front post, but you will see it at the lower settings... If you do get a riser, be sure you can still get a good cheek weld.

I have the same scope on my Norinco CQ and put it atop a riser, that way I can leave the back up rear sight (not that I shall ever need it) mounted.

I have the same set up. I got a riser from Marstar. I see they are sold out. Fab sports has them to. I don't see them on his site, but you can email him. Great guy to deal with. He will reply quick
