Will my choke tube stand up?

Hey guys,

I just started hitting waterfowl, and I am just curious whether or not my Extended Remington Modified choke will be alright with Blackcloud ammo. I figure it should be just fine as it is alright with magnum steel loads. However, I see there are special choke tubes for Blackcloud ammo that work better with the Flight Control wad. Anyone see a problem with using the Blackcloud with my choke? And does anyone think that is worth while to drop $50-$90 on a special choke?

If you are shooting Blackcloud don't waste your bucks on a high end choke like a Wad Wizard or Patternmaster. Those chokes use a wad retarding technology, and according to Federal and the tests I've seen they don't work well with the Flitestopper wad. Patternmaster has just released a specific Blackcloud choke, but I haven't heard anything about it yet. I was shooting Blackcloud through an Improved Cylinder choke this season.

My suspicions have been confirmed. Patternmaster claims that there is a special titanium coating that allows the Flightcontrol wad to work more effectively with their special Blackcloud chokes. Although, I guess I've never had a problem with the Flightcontrol wad before while using Federal's Tactical 00 Buck. Thanks for the input friends.
