Will sks rear sight assembly fit on Mosin Nagant 91/30 1944 Izhevsk?

The title says it all. I got a Mosin that was fitted with a front scope mount, and to do that the previous owner got rid of the rear iron sight. I can't seem to find the rear sight assembly in Canada (would appreciate a resource for Mosin parts in Canada if you know of one), but I do have access to sks parts.

Do you know if sks parts would work?

I apologize ahead of time if the post is not in the right sub-forum, but this felt like the most appropriate place to make it.

Sorry it will not. Post more and access the EE. Should be able to find a new rear sight there.

Both TradEx and Westrifle carry spare parts for Mosins, although they both appear to be out of rear sights at the moment.

It might be worth shooting either dealer an email just to confirm, both are decent, friendly people to deal with.

You may try Numrich however it will be quite expensive if you include the exchange rate and cost of shipping. Another way is to find a 91/30 with rotten bore and strip it for spares.
