Will these night sights fit on my 1911???

My brother bought me these

as an xmas gift and they did not arrive yet. Now that he told me the specific model I looked them up on the trijicon website, and it says models made AFTER 1988. My colt being made in 1943.. will they fit?

It says it fits Colt Gov. 1911's, so you should be OK.

Yea? But I noticed they have the same night sights which say models made BEFORE 1988, and the front post sight is much more slim. :/

Oh yeah, I see what you mean. You might have to exchange them in that case. Sorry, just read the first line before.
Can you contact them and change them out since they haven't arrived yet?

i would not worry about it. sell them in the "EE" and buy another set.
