Will this work on my Norinco M4

I want to install one of these on my M4 and am wondering if it will work?

UTG -1 Piece True 'Free Float' Quad Rail, Mid-Length

If I want to put this on will I also need one of these as it is a mid length and not a CAR length?

Rock River Arms - Low Profile Gas Block

If this will work is there any reason that I wouldn't want to do it.

I am new to this AR stuff so please be kind.
 
You will need to take a cutting wheel to your rifle to remove the existing front gas block and barrel nut.

They are on so tight that you will only do damage to the gun and tools trying to remove them normally.

Everything should work, if you can get the existing stuff off.

I am in the same predicament, I will make it a winter project.
