Will you be getting the Vortex SPARC II / STRIKEFIRE II Red Dots?

I want this newly released Red Dot Sight (seeing as you are a Vortex dealer, I thought I'd ask). Any word on getting the SPARK II & STRIKEFIRE II in stock?

several dealers already have them in. I'm personally holding out until I hear some reviews from people that guinea pig it for me to make sure that it is as durable or better than the original sparc.
I loved the original sparc though.

Really do you know which ones?

I'm trying to decide between the SPARC or saving up for a Aimpoint PRO.

These will definitely available online and in our store as soon as they ship from Vortex. We expect these to come shortly and we placed a very large order for them at SHOT, so we're sure to see them! From first-hand experience with the optic I can say that it is for sure a nicer SPARC -- slimmer, lighter, more durable exterior electronic controls. The new Strikefire IIs are fantastic red dots as well with a great new mount design.

Cheers,
Daniel

Myself and several colleagues shot it today and I was impressed. Only problem was the front cover kept falling off. Will have to apply some adhesive to keep it on.

I'm kind of disappointed that they still have the dot emitter on the bottom of the tube. Looks like I'm getting a T-1 to lower co-witness the irons on my VZ. If it's ever in-prohibited of course :(

Got one from another dealer 2 weeks ago. Don't have the old one so cant compare. It works, solid built quality. Bright enough for sunny day, although you want to keep the brightness as low as possible so the dot is smaller. Got almost 300 rounds on a norc cq-a, holds zero well. Just note that it doesn't come with the 2x screw on magnifier anymore. It's nice to have the spacers included so you can choose to absolute cowitness or lower 1/3 cowitness on the ar15. It comes with 2x batteries as well. Can't go wrong with the lifetime warranty.

I got to check out the new sparc, strikefire and spitfire at the Vortex booth at the Edmonton Sportsmen Show. The sparc 2 has less blue tint then the original, the strikefire 2 had even less then the sparc 2 and the spitfire was a nice clear optic as it should be with an etched reticle.

Ducimus, I would go with the Aimpoint PRO if your funds allow for it. With Aimpoint reliability and battery life it is worth it and ill never sell mine. (I replaced the original sparc on my AR with an Aimpoint PRO)

I'm certain most of the people look to Vortex for it's 'bang for the buck' value. Not many people can afford an Aimpoint. Vortex does fill a need for a quality RDS at an affordable price and is well reviewed in that regard.

Totally agree, and I have never had a problem and more than happy with all my Vortex products. I have read when someone does have an issue Vortex will replace it right away , great warranty. Just my two cents worth.

A wrap or two of trimmed electrical tape around the outside barrels of the optic should do it with minimal hassle or mess.

Ya that SPARC is like half the price of the Aimpoint PRO. But the Aimpoint is an Aimpoint! I will all come down to how well I can articulate this critical point to my wife.
