Wilson reloading gear rusting?

I have been fortunate to pick up a couple good deals on case trimmers lately, they almost all have a bit of rust on them. I plan to take them to work and put them in the industrial sonic cleaner. Is there any danger in this? Any suggestions for keeping future rust off of them? I have some 'clp break free ' I planned to soak them in, but not sure if people have had bad experiences or not

If you are going to completely de-grease them in a sonic cleaner make sure you oil everything quickly after they dry.

Myself I would just clean up the rust with some fine steel wool and make sure the bare steel always has a bit of oil on it.

I tried the steel wool didn't really have the desired effect. Yep I'll coat them in some sort of rust prevention, I plan to use clp break free unless somebody suggests better

I use cold blue to block rust on just about everything.
