Win. .30 Rem. Help

I have a old empty ammo box of Win. .30 rem. self loading written on the box . Is the ammo for that old box the same ammo from a .30 Rem. or 30 Rem. Mag. Hope I'm saying this right. Thanks for any help.

It will be for the old Remingtons ie-8/81/14/141s. In no way compatible with the 30AR from 2008.

I did see some Dominion & Peters 30 Rem. and nothing on the box's that said self loading. This is what I did not know if they were the same cartridge as the ones that said self loading on the box.

NO not the AR they are different .

Same ammo just an old advertising ploy for the 8/81 semi-auto shooters versus the 14/141 pump action.

It's a cartridge that was marketed to compete with the .30-30. also the parent of the 10mm Auto and 6.8SPC.
