Win 94 firing pin removal

I remember the first time I had to work on a particular model... no easy to do tips, no videos to watch. Just taking the time and figuring it out. Some guns were very easy. Some not so easy. 45 years later I still find some puzzles.

Figuring it out implants it in your memory... and it sometimes assists you in a future different model...

My point is, if you can't figure it out, you shouldn't be doing it.

I hear what yer sayin....just going to deativate it once its gets here...lookin to save some time!

You have to disconnect the lever from the bolt. There is a small screw at the top of the receiver on the left. Remove this screw and you can drift the pin out from the opposite side ( from right to left). There is also a small pin at the rear of the bolt that has to be removed. Post '64's don't have this, makes life a lot simpler.

Well said Guntech! Agree with you 100%. Only one thing more I would add is: BOOKS! Get books on the subject and READ READ READ! Old disaasembly books can be found cheap at any gunshow AND in my opinion are FAR MORE reliable a source of ACCURATE information than most of the vids posted on UTube! Next best is Google searchs for factory manuals and disassembly/assembly instructions. Case in point: slave pins used for disassembly of Win 88! If I had read up on the instructions before my first attempt - would've saved a WORLD of heart ache!!!!
