The gun belonged to my great uncle. Legend has it he shot over 150 deer with it. Anyway, based on the other 94's I've seen, they usually have the buckhorn sight. This one has three different notches that can be flipped to the range you are looking for 50, 100 and 200 yrds. The wear on the sight looks to be in line with the rest of the gun. I'm hoping someone knowledgable of 94's might be able to tell me if there is any chance the sight is original? Thanks for looking.

Your sight is the Winchester "Express sight" number 34A. It is found on many Winchester rifles and carbine models. It could be the original sight.

Three leaf express. I snagged one at a gun show a year ago. One of the high falutin' dealers I showed it to almost spit his teeth out. He told me that a lot of them are broken, that it was unusual to see one that had all the leaves and that actually worked.

Nice catch!

Like has been said, original Winchester sight. Very likely original to the gun so a special order option. Saddle ring carbines came standard with the carbine rear sight.
A three leaf express sight in good condition is worth around $200 to a Winchester collector.
