I believe you mean the Ontario Conservation Officers Commemerative rifle. There were supposed to be 1000 manufactured . They had a badge and the badge number imbeded in the stock. They were offered first to Active CO's at about $1000 per rifle. Then Winchester or its heir went bankrupt again and I believe Cherry's Guns took over the contract and had them finished in Italy. They were then considerable more than $1000.
The only one I have seen for sale was at Cherry's years ago. I have seen one at another retired Ontario C.O 's I was going to order one when they were first available but thought better of it.
I seem to remember Cherry's asking $1400.00 for theirs. The wood is some Italian hardwood that was extremely well figured and finished.
Hope this helps, I know I have the initial brochure and order form somewhere in my papers. I will look and see if I can find and update you
Hope this helps
