Win 94 Ser # Help

I have a friend with a couple winchester 94's. He's interested in finding the date of manufacture. Anybody out there that may know of a site or list that could help me out with this? Thanks, Sammy

Numbers are 1391005
and 1316479...........any help with these would be great, Merry Christmas!

If the records exist, they may be able to also tell you the history of the gun, not just its date of manufacture.
 
Those are pretty helpful sites, thanks. We looked up a win 1897 shotgun here and found out it was made in 1904. We knew it was old but didnt realize it was over 100 years in age...............
