Win 94 value?

I have a friend who inherited a Winchester model 94 .3030 and he is looking at selling it. Serial no. is 2079###, which according to one site I looked at, makes it a 1955. The wood is VG to Mint, the blueing is 80% or so. I'm not really into winchesters, but it is a lever gun, and I'm looking at buying it. What would be a fair value for this gun? It's all original, no extra holes, really a pretty little gun.

Thanks... I thought so, but was also hoping the pre-1960 thing might make it a bit more valuable. The metal needs to be cleaned a little, but mostly just surface junk on it. The wood is super.
