Win hulls

Has anyone tried reloading the newer Win AA hulls? These are a shiney silver colour and are quite slippery. They are not manufactured the same as the red hulls ie they do not have the 1 piece "condom" type plastic hull pressed into the brass base. These have the tube (open both ends) pressed into the base. Just wondering as they are from AA shells but seem to be the cheaper type hull. Sorry for the longish explanation.

Load them as any other hull. Match the wad to the hull shape and work up a load.

If your Winchester AA hulls have the 'box' around the 'AA' logo they are the old style (one piece) hulls. If they do not they are the new style (two piece separate basewad) hulls. Supposedly they load the same although I have my doubts.

I have found the new silver/grey coloured Win hulls will collapse a lot more easily than the read ones.
