Uncle of a friend has decided he's too old to hunt anymore. Has a couple guns for sale. One being a M 50 Win 12 guage in good condition. I am not familiar with this model. I have seen a M59 or two. Any feedback on history, value etc would be appreciated.

My 'trap' gun is M50 that was re-stock many moons ago... It's proven to be reliable and very 'soft' on recoil.

The floating chamber is 'interesting'...

As for value, I probably paid too much for mine, but it's been so long that I forgot... so it couldn't have been all that bad ;)

In the US, nice examples will go for $300-$400... In Canada, there doesn't seem to be much interest.
