win mod 70 need part for boss

Hi anyone know were I can get the non ported adaptor for my boss I dont need the extra noise or the muzzel brake its only a 270 , Browning offers it but they say it will not fit the Winchester I belive they refer to it as the C-R MEANING CONVENTIONAL RECOIL Any help would be great thanks to all

A competent gunsmith can fix the boss system.....it's a quick barrel chop and a recrown the rifle. Rifles don't need a muffler anyways.:beerchug:

I put a "Browning" CR on my Winchester without any problem at all.

BTW, I got mine from Russells

They are stocked by some of the retailers but I ordered mine at Lebarons, they had some models in stock but not my model, they got it from Browning/Winchester. My rifle is a Winchester M70 Laredo. Cost was $32.
