Just going through my safe today ,cleaning and oiling and noticed this on my model 12.
The receiver s/n 462### dates to 1926.
barrel assembly s/n 794### dates to 1939 according to the website I checked.12 guage no choke markings, blued.
The broad arrow, designates government owership ,but not neccesarily service, is on the barrel half if I can call it that.
Can find no history so far on win mod 12s' in canadian service.
Did the model 12 see service for Canada?
click on thumbs

W5-1 stamp?

The receiver ,other than the s/n on the underside, has no markings.
