Winchester 100 screw

I am wondering if anyone knows where a guy(me) can find a forearm screw(part #1600) for the Winchester 100 rifle model. I have a WTB add but no luck. Any ideas of where or if something else is compatible? Thanks for the help guys.

Yeah. I have a carbine and have had a difficult time getting parts. I saw one on eBay. But they won't ship to Canada either. I'll keep an eye out. Good luck in your search.

It's a long discontinued rifle. Parts are basically extinct... Brownell's does not stock obsolete/used hard to find gun parts.

Make one!! If you can't do it yourself, most smiths can do this, jut don't expect them to work for free.

They have other Model 100 parts listed and several Winchester screw sets. An Email to them wouldn't hurt. Maybe there's a screw in one of the sets that'll work.

Pretty easy to make.... Do you have the specs, length and thread? Could make you one in 5 minutes....

Waiting to hear back from Brownells and figuring out how to get one made will be a last resort. I've sent out a dozen emails/phone calls to suppliers but no luck so far...

If you need to have one made. I'm in Winnipeg and have 2 m100 you can take measurements etc off of.

Would this be the forend/forearm screw that also holds the sling swivel in place as well as holding the fore stock to the barrel?? If so I have several of them. I have a small stock of them because the owners of many Win 100's had me swap out the originals for Uncle Mikes quick detachable swivels. That Uncle Mikes kit comes with a new screw that hold the detachable swivel.
So you can get an original from me or get in touch with Uncle Mikes to see if they still offer the quick detachable swivel kit for a M-100. Regardless problem may be solved.

Good to know but a fellow CGN'r found a spare screw yesterday and is having it shipped out to me. Will let you know if it doesn't work out. Thanks for the help everyone!
