I`ve been out of shooting for 10 years and looking to get back into the skeet game,,
The question I have is the newer 101`s are supposed to be the same stock dimensions as the older 101,,Does anyone know first hand if the are the same,,
The reason I ask is I used to shoot an older 101 and it fit me perfect but stupid me sold it and I have regreted it ever since,,
I haven`t been able to find one in the rack at any of the local stores to see for myself so any info would be appreciated,, Thanks

I found many different 101's vary, a waterfowl, field, trap, skeet all fit different. The field fit me well but the waterfowl did not. You will need to try the fit of the model to see. Also try a Browning, again some fit & some don't. (I love my skeet but not the field :( ). Good luck

I find that the 101 field fits very similar to the SXP, not the same but close.
I use a Citori Satin Lightning for skeet, Also fits similar to the 101. I only bought the Citori over the Winchester cause it was a little less money.

Thanks for the replies,,the 101 I had previous was a true skeet/upland model,,choked skeet and skeet with no screw in tubes,,
I`m hesitant to just order a new one without at least finding one in a rack somewhere to check out first,, looks like time to start searching the local gun shops, and checking my other options,,

Depends on where you live. I can list a few that always have them in stock.
Ontario = Ellwood Epps, Al Flaherty's, Triggers and Bows, Shooter's Choice...
Alberta = Prophet River has 2 in stock.
New Brunswick = The Gun Dealer
