Bought a new Winchester 101 3 months ago, have put thru it about 400 rounds. Still a little stiff. I have noticed that sometimes the gun does fully eject the shells. Is it because it is still a little stiff and when opening the chamber I do not have a quick fluid motion yet? Or do the ejectors need some oil? Or can they be adjusted? Thoughts?

I also have found that using the challenger shells, the odd time it will actually jam and i have to use the push rod to dislodge it!! Happened 3 times last week so I stopped using those shells? Cheap shells?

Thanks

The ejectors really snap when they eject, but there is not much travel to them. Just make sure you're opening the gun in one smooth motion, opening it firmly. Try another brand of shells, see what they do. Challenger are usually pretty good shells.
