Winchester 1300 action bar broke ...

... should I be concerned? The action bar on the right side of my Winchester 1300 broke, mere minute after I bragged up its reliability. The pump still works, as the left side is still intact, so the bolt still moves back and forth.

Should I replace it ASAP? I can't see it being a safety issue, but I haven't thought about it too carefully yet. I imagine Winchester 1300 forearms are going to be hard to find in Canada.

Did it snap or did solder joint fail? If just solder gun smith could fix it quick.

Fix or replace, some of the guns don't function well without the second bar.

PM me, I think I have a relatively new set.
The action bars trip the mag cutoffs, so they are integral to the proper function.

They both snapped right off at the back slot.

They're easy to weld. Just be sure to reheat the whole piece including the weld to near orange hot. I like to heat to near orange then fast quench in cold motor oil then reheat to barely reddish and air cool.
