winchester 1400

hi their i just bought a winchester 1400 semi with a 28" and a slug barrel. ive heard good things about the gun but was wondering what everyones expierence with this firearm was? im going to use it as a skeet/clays gun mostly, and i take very good care of my guns. thanx

These are decent guns. They aren't heirloom quality and I believe you may break a part or two in your lifetime, but you'll get thousands of rounds of use out of it. I've got a 2200 pump and love it.

The best thing you can do for a semi is use BreakFree CLP in the gas piston area, and keep it slightly 'wet'. This stuff will not cook like other lubes, and cleanup is a simple wipe with a rag. Same in the breach area.

Do you have a Skeet tube for it?

I 2nd the use of Breakfree CLP on the gas piston & rod.

I use it on my 391 Beretta & it ensures reliability & easy cleaning.
