Hi Everyone!

I'm new to CGN and also new to owning firearms and must say that this place seems to be a pretty awesome community.

To the point - My neighbor has a Used Winchester 1500 XTR 12 Gauge for sale and was wondering if anyone could help me out with some feedback as to whether or not it is a reliable shotgun, likes/dislikes and of course - price estimate. I have attached a picture below.

Welcome to cgn.

My opinion is that they were/are a good hunter grade semi and would/will be as good as you maintain it. Ive had 2 both of which have moved on but were both reliable and problem free for me. Several factors will come into play regarding value such as the obvious condition, barrel it has on it, modifications if any...... more details needed for a proper assessment I.e. photos which it looks like you will get access to with more involvement on the site.

If it shoulders and fits right and you like the price have at it.
 
I had a Winchester Model 1500, as well as two Model 1400,which are the same gun with different finish.All three were prone to jamming.
