Here is a bit of an oddity as far as milsurp goes. An original US service Winchester Model 1883 Hotchkiss. Still in 45-70, with the full length barrel. As can be seen, at some point the front wood was shortened and the cleaning rod was lost. It's also had the magazine cut off lever removed unfortunately. Having access to a machine shop, and setting up a stock duplication machine, I was wondering if anyone on here has an original full length one to compare and get measurements from? I can CAD model a new mid band and cut off lever, as well as make a new fore stock once I get my machine fully set up. Bore on this one is great and has no problem hitting a 10" gong at 200 yds with ease.
