Winchester 1885 hammer extender

I am going to be picking up a new Winchester 1885 in a 6.5x55. I will be mounting a Leupold 3-9x40 scope on it with talley rings. I was just wondering if I will have to put a hammer extender on it.

Once you've picked up your 1885 (from Bashaw Sports I presume) and you've worked the action, you'll discover that a hammer extension isn't an option as the hammer
drops right down inside the action when you work the lever. What you will want are some high rings that will fit the type of base you decide to use.
