Just got it one in 22-250 and it looks fantastic... the only problem is it doesnt have iron sights, and I am having trouble finding bases so I can mount a scope!
From my google searches, I am coming up with a wealth of information, but its a matter of sifting through what is wrong and right, and also most of the information I am finding is in regards to the High Walls.
I tried weaver #11 and #29s on it today, and holy smokes was it ever off. The front base sat about 3/16" too low (eyeballing it). I know there is options to shim, but that is definitely a lot of shims to make up the difference with.
The store didnt have any Leupold 2 piece bases for it. From my googling, Ive come up with 2 different ones that are/could be for it; 51260, and 50012.
On top of that, others have experienced the need to still shim, and some have even said going with 2 different height rings.
Just hoping someone with some experience on working with one of these newer ones in the Low Wall, octagon barrel, centerfire, can chime in with some input before ordering a set of bases and rings that may or may not fit!
