Winchester 1886 Extra Light

That is my favourite configuration of the 1886. I even like the tang safety, if you have to have a safety. They show up now and then for significantly less than a new Marlin and seems like a heck of a nicer rifle to me. Congrats on the new toy.

It was significantly less than the new Marlins. I like Marlins, I like the new Ruger made ones, but they don't seem to have the same fit and finish as the Miroku Winchester's. Maybe that's opening a can of worms!

Would really like to see Winchester come out with a .50-110 version of their extra light weight rifle.
