Hello,

I have a box magazine off my winchester 1895 in 303 british where one of the side guide clips (if that's the right terminology) broke off.

Is this something that can be replaced or fixed?

I don't have the missing guide clip as it must've fell out while I took it out shooting.

I tried looking online for something but couldn't find anything, even looked for a while magazine replacement but nothing in stock

Looks to me like a duplicate facsimilia could be made & re-riveted. Find a hobby machinist in the Cowtown area to help out if you dont have any machinery. There is a Hobby Machinist forum that has a pile of guys local to Calgary that would probably be glad to help. I would but Im 2 hrs from you.

I don't mind sending it to you if that's alright?

I could be talked into it but it wont be until spring as I shut the heat off in my shop for the winter. I will PM you with mailing info if you do want to send it. I dont have a complete 95 mag here to use as a pattern but have a buddy that does have one.

I am Looking at the Magazine from the top down in my 1895 but without taking it out of the Gun. Yes it seems the "Lips" is riveted on. First I would get a original replacement part after that you need someone to properly install it. Unless you are handy, have Tools and take Pride in your work, the Word Gunsmith comes to mind.

Cheers
