Winchester 1897 buck shot

HI I have a Winchester 1897 with 20 inch barrel with no chock would it be safe to shoot 00 buck shot out of it with 1325fps

it is 1910 production but has a 20 inch barrel cylinder bore

If the year is correct it will be good for smokeless. There are other factors though like condition. Choke is irrelevant as far as safety unless you are using extra full.

As long as she is in good condition and the chamber is 2.75 inch you are good to go with buckshot
