Can you 97 fanatics recommend a good reference book on these fine shotguns? Also, aside from the trench guns, where do the values run?

HOWDY; Values are all over the map, 100 to 1000 are seen .Condition is everthing ,then location in the country a little bit and gauge
B or C models in farm oringnal used can be 250 to 350 .Custom refinshed with choke tubes and cut to cowboy action shooting style will have around 600 bucks for a price. A like new E model made in 1955 will be 1000 plus . IF it is a Black Diamond trap model 1000 plus in just about any shape. Know what it is and and condition .

There is very good information on the '97 in "Brownells Encyclopedia of Modern Firearms". Lots of other guns are covered as well.
