I acquired a Winchester model 1906 in a trade a few months back. It seems to be functional other than it doesn't lock in place when you #### the pump forward. I took a picture of the breech bolt below.
From what I can tell, the little triangle piece attached to the firing pin is not coming back far enough to lock the bolt into place. Can I just file down the firing pin stop so that the pin comes back far enough to lock?
