The ones that I have seen I think were running around $600 to $700 asking price. If you buy one, make sure it is chambered for long rifle because the ones made for shorts cannot be easily modified. Also make sure you get some sort of guarantee on the chamber being in good condition; if a lot of shorts have been shot in the gun, it may have erosion towards the front of the chamber

as long as the rifling and chamber are good, that would be a reasonable buy. I have had one for many years and definitely like it

Concur on pricing-at local gun shows there are always 2 or 3 priced between 550-700- with a good amount of negotiate room available.
