The only issues that sometimes come up with 24's is that they are somewhat tight chambered and do not generaly like reloads and some factory ammo (cured easly by polishing chambers). The other thing is caused, I believe, by tight chambers is that the extractor springs weaken -- easy to replace. Otherwise they are great guns in 16 & 20ga. 12 ga offerings in model 24's tend to be clubby. $350 is reasonable if the gun is in very good condition -- theu do not command big prices in this country -- a very good one in the US will bring $500 to $600.
