Winchester 2400 or 1400 ???

I can't seem to find a lot of information about the Winchester semi-auto, model 2400, 12 G.
Could the model 2400 be a Canadian version of the model 1400?

Seems to me I have an old Winchester/Cooey catalogue that lists the Model 2400 as a Canadian version .Probably about a 1971 catalogue .

As best as I know, the 2400 was a plainer version with no checkering.
