Hi I was thinking of going Deer Hunting with my 30/30 and was wondering if there is any way to put a site or scoop on it?

"...to put a site(sic) or scoop(sic) on it..." What's on it now? The type of ejection matters how a scope mount gets put on. There are Win 94's that eject up and Win 94's that eject out the side. You need to know which one you have if you're planning on mounting a scope yourself.
A top eject requires the scope to be mounted on the left side of the receiver. Makes aiming awkward. Although, you can have a long eye relief scope mounted on the barrel.
Side ejects can have the scope on top. The mount still goes on the left side though.
None of this applies to aftermarket receiver mounted peep sights or the sights that came with your rifle.

... Just go for a "Peep Sight" (Aperture) be it either Williams or Lyman. Simple to install, removable, effective, and bearing in mind the 30-30 is a close range, brush type caliber, and very effective on "snap shots" ! (It's worth looking into the used market as well ) .... 'cheaper than a scope and mounts, perhaps more "rugged" and more appropriate on a short carbine/rifle. .... David K.

I've got bases, I've got see-thru mounts (yah I know, but I was young) You can have them if you like. They are for the 94 AE.

Scoped 94's are notorious for causeing scope eye.

Upgrade your open sights!
