Firstly welcome to CGN mate!
Secondly just to clarify when posting about firearms, good rule of thumb is to post make model and then caliber. In your case it is a Winchester Model 1892, in 38-40. That way it leads to less possible confusion over models (Winchester had many models with all sorts of numbers)
In regards to the info you're looking for, the more info the better to help you out, pictures really are the best way to get an online feedback on value.
Is it a rifle, or carbine? When was it made? How is the wood?, sights?, full mag, half mag, button mag, carbine or crescent butt, etc etc etc.
That's why pics are good, because only so much help can be provided just based on description.
I hope that helps somewhat, if you need any help, post it!
