Winchester 490 Disassembly for Cleaning

Good day folks. I'm very much a newbie and am trying to clean my Winchester 490. I'm following the manual to a tee, but I've run into an issue where in the disassembly instructions it says (step 13 in disassembly) "Slide the breech bolt assembly forward until it is out of the receiver". Simple enough, but as I slide it forward it has a spring attached to the rear of the bolt which seems to be wanting to pull the bolt back. I've gone over the instructions a bunch of times and have not missed any steps. The manual says at this point that it's "gunsmith only" to further disassemble and I kinda agree -- I just want to remove and clean the bolt as this is a used rifle and it's really dirty.

Hoping someone has taken one of these apart before. I love shooting it but it's making me work pretty hard to show some TLC!

Looks like a Cooey 64 rebadge, should be lots of videos and expertise out there for the Cooey and Savage 64.

Does this look about right?

The bolt assembly definitely looks similar, but it seems like that whole thing (with the rear spring) just slides out. mine does not. I'm now thinking that rear "plate" at the back of the spring (the Striker Retainer according to the 490 manual) may be stuck/fused to the rear of the action. I will see if I can get some penetrating oil back there to loosen things up. Thanks for the suggestion! It helps me understand what the manual was trying to describe.
