Here is my Winchester 52 pre-A stainless. Overall the rifle is in good shape, but the finish has been removed from the barrel. Who ever did that did a good job though. There are no marks or scratches that may have been left if they had used sand paper or a wire brush. There are a few marks on the stock from 85 years of usage, but really not that bad at all. The rifle came with the 82-A ladder sight, as well as a Lyman 48. The right side of the receiver looks like it was drilled and tapped at the factory for the Lyman. Based on the serial number, this rifle was manufactured in 1930.

I got it zeroed and shot this 25 yard group. Considering my lack of experience with peep sights, I'm real impressed with how it shoots.
 
I have a Pre A in a HB barrel model. I'd be happy to part with for reasonable money as well. It just needs some wood screws to put it together, and unfortinatley it is not the original stock. Phenominal trigger fot the age of this rifle that I have.. FS
