Here is my Winchester 52 pre-A stainless. Overall the rifle is in good shape, but the finish has been removed from the barrel. Who ever did that did a good job though. There are no marks or scratches that may have been left if they had used sand paper or a wire brush. There are a few marks on the stock from 85 years of usage, but really not that bad at all. The rifle came with the 82-A ladder sight, as well as a Lyman 48. The right side of the receiver looks like it was drilled and tapped at the factory for the Lyman. Based on the serial number, this rifle was manufactured in 1930.
